Sport Premium
At Southill we recognise the contribution of PE and sport to the health and well-being of children.
We believe that a diverse PE curriculum alongside a variety of extra curricular opportunities have a positive influence on our pupils.
The PE and sport premium is part of a government initiative designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the activities offered to children.
We have site constraints being a small rural school, and so it is of vital importance that we use the space we have effectively and maximise the offer available in the local area. This includes using the local field and play park for bigger events, visiting play and outdoor provision locally and also ensuring that the children have access to inter school competitions.
