One of the aims of the House system at Southill Lower is to give the children a sense of belonging.
There are four Houses – ruby (red), sapphire (blue), emerald (green) and onyx (black).
All the children are allocated a House when they join us and they will spend all their time with us in that one House. Siblings are always together.
Dojo totals go towards their house totals each week. Each term children also gain points on sports day and are awarded points for being placed first, second or third. On Sports Day children wear their House Colours when competing.
Another aim of the House system is to reward the children for their achievements. They can earn House Points for their school work via dojos.
